Arlene, a fellow photog at Imagine Nation, organized a small studio shoot where mark ches also taught us some lighting styles. We had fun playing with lights. I realized i like one lighting and at times ambient lighting only. :) Our models for the night were grace and kay. Make up was done by ms. Madge and team. Hope you enjoy this set. :)

             Grace slowly loosened up for the shoot. Making her laugh certainly did the trick.
 

i like the fresh look here. well that's what 5 days in bora could do you your skin!
This reminds me of the saloon.... hehe!

Kay just looked fresh and ready for the shoot.

We tried to blow her hair with a small fan we had in the studio .
Now it was time for a high fashion look. I wanted to experiment with just one lighiting.
This was a candid moment as grace was reviewing her pics on a friend's camera screen. Though it would be cool to capture.
This for me showed drama. And  I wanted to capture that.
Joel made this pose haha. So took advantage of it and looked for a nice angle.
Tried out the 50mm 1.4.. certainly a joy to use. I went fully ambient lighting halfway the shoot.

The longest day of my photography life haha! A whole day shoot that lasted till early morning! It was a free shoot with free make up artists. We wanted to help models build their portfolios and we needed their help in building ours.  Here are some pics from the shoots. Whew shot hundreds of pics!
